She Is Armored With Vulnerability - My story
Welcome to She Is Armored blog site. I am a believer in vulnerability because it is known to bring healing to someone else's life. Not just healing, but to demolish shame. In the midst of a journey battling depression,  to hear someone else's victory, this was key to my freedom. At the age of 12, my world was shaken that forced me to run after God. That was my hope, my life line. Fast forward through the years, I didn't realize how severe life's circumstances had affected me until I got married. Prior to, I was the "massive encourager" to people's worlds.  I lived to see others have hope through my story. I looked like the "put together" christian on the outside, however, I found myself trapped on the inside. Not being aware of what real self care & soul care really looked like for myself, I hit rock bottom. This is where authentic healing began.  With the support of my husband, family & friends, I knew a new chapter was on the horizon.
When I met my husband, it was no coincidence that both of our favorite movies' was "Braveheart". Fighter movies was always my jam before but little did I know it was a spirit of grit and resilience that the Lord was developing inside of me all along. In reality, scenarios of learning to fight was really my life. Top Gun, nailed it as I realized that God wants to give us aerial view through our battles. Our freedom will propel someone else's. I pray that through some vulnerability, the Lord will not just begin a chapter of healing, but this will ignite a fire within you to take your freedom by force. You are not walking this journey alone. God wants to give you an army of support of those who love you and believe in you. He wants to give you a safe place to rest because this battle is his. You were created to thrive and remind the enemy that victory will be your battle cry!
