Transparency: the quality of allowing light to pass through so that objects behind can be distinctly seen.

When we encounter obstacles, there is no doubt that God allowed us to experience these situations to free others. I knew when my journey of healing started, God would use this. I had looked "strong', on the outside. I went through ministry school, did all the outreaches, involved in ministries and known as an encourager. Never had a thought I would hit rock bottom. Depression was never in my vocabulary because I never heard it talked about growing up in a church. I knew I had brokenness, but never put a name to it. From the moment my journey of healing began, I knew God would use this not to just help others, but to educate the church. I remember laying in a hospital bed and the Word of God came back to me. Not only the scriptures, but every one's face who had ever impacted my life before.

When studying for my certification for mental health coaching, I watched one of the most life enriching clips, "The Incredible Power of Intentional Listening". Dr. Eric Scalise said this, Our brains and our minds think 4xs faster ahead than before we speak. We must listen with our eyes, we must listen with our ears, but not just with our eyes and ears, but listen with our spirit." I am here to give my heart and allow God to use my story to help free others out of a trap of feeling shame to thriving in freedom with purpose. Do you have an event that you are hosting online or in person and could use a story of vulnerability to help others? Feel free to contact me. You can email me at SheIsArmored@gmail.com or send a message through "Contact Me" at the bottom. Looking forward to being a team with you so that others can have hope. Transparency is the key to souls.
